Bad Royale’s powerful bass stylings come correct on their Dim Mak debut EP “Return of the Kings.” Opening with “Hot Steppa,” the group is joined by legendary Jamaican deejay Future Fambo for an anthemic fusion of dancehall and ferocious bass drops. They then team up with Richie Loop on “Lock Off Di Dance,” followed by “Push It,” highlighting ragga soca artist Bunji Garlin and Fay-Ann Lyons. The EP closes with a one-two punch via twerk-fueled “Malo (feat. Rayna)” and “Bess Gyal,” a soulful island track featuring Trinidad & Tobago’s Azaryah on vocals.
