EPIC MAS Band (The Premiere Costume Band of Hollywood Carnival)

EPIC MAS Band “EPIC MAS” is a carnival troupe/band hosted by international recording artiste and King of Soca music, Machel Montano. In 2014, EPIC Mas was established to support the Los Angeles Culture Festival (LACF) in their mission to promote the culture of the West Indian community in California.

The band began as a section with 80 masqueraders and quickly expanded to a full group of 300 masqueraders in 2015. EPIC MAS has also participated as a section in both Baje International for Barbados Crop Over 2015 as well as Toronto Caribana 2015. In February 2016, EPIC MAS made its dynamic debut in Trinidad & Tobago Carnival as a guest section in Fantasy Carnival—one the largest and most popular Carnival bands in the country.
