Kes exceeds 6.3 million views, Shal Marshall holds steady behind | Top 30 Viewed videos Week 5 2018

Kes’s “Hello” on the Folklore riddim remains at position #1 for the 5th consecutive on our Julian’s Promos Top 30 viewed songs on our YouTube page with 776,760 views, bringing its total to over 6.4 million views.

Holding steady with position #2 is Shal Marshals “Splinters” (546, 329 views) on the 2am Project riddim. Also on the riddim on our countdown is Kes and Patrice’s “Like I Like That” which dropped from position #10 to position #11 this week.

“Soca Kingdom” has captured the hearts of many. Usain Bolt went crazy when he heard it at a recent show. You can see the video on Machel Montano’s Instagram page (@machelmontano). Unfortunately, it hasn’t captured the number one spot yet. Soca Kingdom is rocking steady at position #3 (453,288 views).

Patrice” Patsy” Roberts is making serious fashion statements with each picture she posts on social media. Her chart topper “Sweet Fuh Days” is holding steady at position #4 with (338,077 views). “Criminal Wine” featuring Lyrikal and Millibeatz climbed back up the charts this week to position #8 (238,566 views).

Erphaan Alves “Overdue” (273,426 views) is rocking steady at position #5 this week and is gaining popularity amongst listeners, most notable is reality tv star Benzino from the hit show VH1’s Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta.

Voice’s “Year for Love” on the Upendo Riddim remains at position #6 (251,597 views). Also on the Upendo Riddim, that’s still rocking on our Weekly Top 30 is Machel Montano’s, “Take it Slow” which dropped down to position 15 from #12 last week. Turner’s “Champion” moved up from position 30 to 23. 

 “Full of Vibes” Voice featuring Marge Blackman, on the My Decisions Riddim remains at position #7 this week (241,942 views).

Capping off our top ten this week capturing positions 9 and 10 is the young and spunky Nailah Blackman.  At position #9 is “O’ Lawd Oye” (235,278). At position #10 is “Soka” (219,314 views). Also, her song “Badish” featuring dancehall artist Shenseea remains at position #21.

Notable songs moving up in our Top 30 is Blaxx’s motivational song “Hulk”. “Hulk moved up two slots this week to position #12. Nessa Preppy is still showing us how de “Tingo” as she made her way back on our top 30 easing in at position #13. Spinning her way back on our charts is Jadel’s “Round and Round at position #22. Iwer George’s Savannah went up four slots to position 14. Let’s see if he can make it to the top 10 next week.

For the 4th consecutive week “Hello” by Kes on the Folklore Riddim is the #1 tune on our Julian’s Promos Youtube page (with 790,787 views).

Holding steady with position #2 is Shal Marshals “Splinters” (536, 152 views). “Splinters” is a crowd favorite Kes and Patrice’s “Like it Like That” moved up this week making it to our top 10 at position #10 (with 210,349 views).

Moving up to position #3 is Machel Montano and Super Blue’s “Soca Kingdom” (398,176 views) which was releases only two weeks ago. “Soca Kingdom” is a major song taking over the airwaves and You Tube Soca streams. Let’s see if it can conquer position #1 or #2 next week.

Patrice Roberts “Sweet Fuh Days” is holding steady at position #4 with (363,065 views). “Criminal Wine” featuring Lyrikal and Millibeatz dropped down to position #11 this week.

Kes “Hello” remains number one, Blaxx “Hulk” moves up. Top 30 Viewed videos Week 2 2018

For 2018, “Hello” by Kes on the Folklore Riddim is the #1 tune on our Julian’s Promos Youtube page (with 789,167 views) for this week’s top 30. “Hello” is an infectious tune. The Folklore Riddim has artiste like Turner “Holding On”, (position#19), Sekon Sta (at position #23) with “Aye Yo” and the lioness Nadia Batson’s “Catching Feelings” (position # 30).

Coming in at position #2 is Shal Marshals “Splinters” (520, 436 views). “Splinters” is a crowd favorite on the 2 am Project Riddim produced by Fryktion and Problematic Media. “Splinters” is a hot sexy video giving you a taste of Uber Soca Cruise 2017. Also on the riddim is Kes and Patrice with their very sensual collaboration “Like it Like That” (position 12).

“Let de pumpin start.” What is carnival without energy?  Patrice Robert’s “Sweet Fuh Days” is a spirited tune at position #3 this week (273,786 views). Her next song,  “Criminal Wine’ with Lyrikal and Millibeatz  is at position #10 (164,157 views) climbing up steadily.

Love seems to be Voices formula. Coming in position #4 is Voice’s “Year for Love” off the Upendo Riddim (257,841 views). Erphaan Alves is a very talented singer and songwriter. One of his carnival favorites “Overdue” (256,603) has crept up and grabbed the hearts of many. The video is rather sentimental and very relatable to all lovers out there. “Overdue” is currently holding position #5 this week.

Another popular couple’s anthem, holding position #6 (with 242,093 views) is the beautiful tune by Voice and Marge Blackman’s “Full of Vibes” off the My Decisions Riddim. Full of Vibes” overall has over 2.2 million views and counting.

Also from the Blackman family is Nailah Blackman. Nailah took it back with her song “Sokah,” paying tribute to her late grandfather, the God-father of Soca, Ras Shorty I. Sokah is in position #7 (235,004) this week. Nailah has a few other tunes on our charts this week. O’Lawd Oye (188,401) at position #9. “Badish” featuring dancehall artist Shenseea (position #20). Nailah is a budding artist that has a unique sound and sense of style. The ladies in Soca are making a high impact.

Nessa Preppy is another rising star in Soca. Her song “Tingo” (position 14) is creeping up the charts. This catchy tune has a wicked video that has massive sex appeal where Nessa shows you how de tingo.

Another positive song is Blaxx “Hulk” (position 25). Hulk is a song that inspires a person to stay strong when things aren’t making sense. Keep it locked to see if makes its way to our top ten next week.

Inhabitants of the tropical pieces of heaven on earth that is ST. MAARTEN/ ST. MARTIN DUTCH/FRENCH WEST INDIES and ANGUILLA BRITISH WEST INDIES, have been devastatingly pummeled and destroyed- to put it mildly by the atrocious Hurricane Irma that has changed the life of St. Maarteners and Anguillans across the world.

 

With a reported collective 5.5 BILLION DOLLARS in damage, rising missing persons and fatalities, almost a million homeless; with necessities by the minute (such as: WATER, FOOD, CLOTHING) are both immediately and desperately needed now and, long term to relive our Brothers and Sisters on the islands of ST. MAARTEN/ST.MARTIN & ANGUILLA. With the vast majority of the island(s) homeless, rising death tolls and thousands unaccounted for, aside from other major physical damage to important government buildings, businesses, homes and the only airport on the island; assistance and aid will be needed from now until years to come.
