About Jadel Legere:
Jadel Legere (born Jardine Cherelle Legere) is an independent singer, songwriter, and performer from Trinidad and Tobago, known for blending Soca, R&B, and Dancehall into a bold, soulful sound that resonates across global audiences.

Her musical journey began at age nine in Port of Spain, singing in school and church choirs. After migrating to the U.S., she joined Caribbean bands Surface and Traffik, and in 2014 co-wrote “Haunted” for Soca icon Machel Montano. While studying law through the University of London, Jadel ultimately followed her passion for music full-time.
She broke through in 2016 with the Chutney Soca hit “All of It,” earning the Carib Breakout Artiste Award and launching a European tour. Tracks like “Round N Round” and “Jam Day” brought her to the Soca Monarch Finals and cemented her place in the Carnival scene.

In 2020, Jadel released her debut album “Call Me Jadel,” featuring hits like “Hold Me Close,” “Jam Day,” and “Round N Round” — amassing over 2 million streams. Her 2021 single “Deserve It All” became her most-streamed release, surpassing 7 million streams and landing features on BET Jams and MTV.

She followed with crowd favorites like “Yuh Man,” “Up In The Party,” and “Shake Up,” performing at major festivals across the Caribbean, North America, Europe, and Asia.

Her 2024 album “Don’t Be Mistaken” highlighted her versatility, with standout tracks like “Shake Up Remix” (with Demarco), “Addictive” (with Charly Black), and “Calypso.” In 2025, she earned two Caribbean Music Award nominations and released Carnival hits including “Jam Somebody,” “Meh Darlin,” “Bubbling Champion” (with DJ Private Ryan), and “Fitness” (featuring Trinidad Killa).

Now, for Carnival 2026, Jadel returns with powerful new releases, including “Another Man” and “Permission,” continuing to push Soca forward with confidence, energy, and authenticity.
