Patch & Friends at Temptations Nightclub | Blaxx & Khari Kill | Brooklyn 2011
On September 1, 2011, Soca artist Patch appeared at Temptations Nightclub in Brooklyn, New York, alongside performances from Blaxx and Khari Kill.
Sheniele “Vivaa” Dodson and Chandelle “Chandy” De Riggs were also in attendance with Julianspromos, adding another early Brooklyn nightlife entry to the platform’s growing 2011 Caribbean entertainment archive.

The night brought together Patch, Blaxx and Khari Kill inside Temptations Nightclub during New York’s Labor Day weekend.
Patch was active in Trinidad and Tobago’s Soca scene during this period, while Blaxx had already become a recognizable voice in Soca and Khari Kill brought a reggae presence to the event.
Together, the lineup reflected the blend of Soca, reggae and Caribbean nightlife that was common across Brooklyn during Carnival season.

Blaxx at Temptations
By 2011, Blaxx was already an established presence within Trinidad and Tobago’s Soca scene.
His appearance at Temptations connected the Brooklyn event directly to the artists and music circulating through that year’s Caribbean Carnival season.
The surviving Julianspromos photograph of Vivaa with Blaxx preserves one of the personalities who helped define that era of Soca.
Khari Kill Joins the Night
Khari Kill added a reggae element to the event, broadening the musical mix alongside Patch and Blaxx.
His appearance reflected the crossover between Soca, reggae and Caribbean nightlife that regularly shaped New York’s Labor Day weekend entertainment.
