2013 Shine NY Highlights
In 2013, Julianspromos documented Shine 9, the ninth edition of the long-running Shine Memorial Weekend event in New York.

Shine 9 at The Village
The 2013 edition of Shine took place at The Village in Brooklyn during Memorial Weekend.
Known as Shine 9, the event represented the ninth installment of a recurring series that had already developed a recognizable place within New York’s Caribbean entertainment scene.
Contemporary coverage of the following year’s event looked back on Shine 9 as one of the standout parties of Memorial Weekend 2013, while the 2014 edition celebrated ten years of Shine.
