Bacchanal Jamaica Carnival 2015 Highlights
Julianspromos was on the road in Kingston for Bacchanal Jamaica Carnival 2015, capturing the Soca, costumes and energy of the annual Road March as masqueraders brought Carnival to the streets of Jamaica.
The 2015 season carried the theme “Untamed” and culminated with the Road March on Sunday, April 12, 2015, bringing together masqueraders, DJs, Soca lovers and Carnival personalities for the finale of Jamaica’s Carnival season.
Original Julianspromos coverage was shot and edited by Julian Hackett, with Intrigue Lane serving as the main on-camera host. Intrigue played mas in a costume by LehWeGoSleek, bringing viewers directly into the road experience.
On the Road With LehWeGoSleek
Julianspromos joined the Carnival experience with LehWeGoSleek, one of the groups participating in Bacchanal Jamaica’s 2015 Road March.
With Intrigue hosting from inside the mas and Julian documenting the celebration, the footage captured the road from a participant’s perspective, surrounded by costumes, Soca and the movement of Carnival through Kingston.
LehWeGoSleek was also one of several allied groups participating in competitive judging during the 2015 season, alongside Unleashed, Euphoric and Peeny Wallie Mas.
Bacchanal Jamaica 2015: Untamed
The Untamed season brought weeks of Carnival activity to Jamaica, including Bacchanal Fridays, Beach J’Ouvert, Bacchanal J’Ouvert and the final Road March.
The April 12 parade moved through Kingston before returning to Mas Camp for the season’s closing celebration, with hundreds of Soca fans joining costumed masqueraders on the road.
Kaci Fennell, Miss Jamaica Universe 2014, was selected as Bacchanal Jamaica’s Queen of the Band for the 2015 Road March, marking another memorable element of that year’s presentation.
Soca Meets Jamaican Carnival Culture
Bacchanal Jamaica developed its own identity by blending the traditions and music of Caribbean Carnival with Jamaica’s local entertainment culture.
Throughout the 2015 season, visiting and Jamaican DJs and artists helped keep Soca at the center of the experience, while the Road March brought the celebration out of the fetes and onto the streets of Kingston.
For Julianspromos, Jamaica represented another important stop during a period of rapidly expanding international Carnival coverage.

The Bacchanal Jamaica footage formed part of Julianspromos’ growing multimedia operation during 2015, when the company traveled to multiple Carnival destinations documenting Soca and Caribbean culture through original video, photography and on-the-ground hosting.
With Julian behind the camera and Intrigue Lane on the road, the 2015 coverage preserved another chapter of Jamaica Carnival history from inside the celebration.
