Miami Carnival J’Ouvert 2015 Highlights
Julianspromos was on the road for Miami Carnival J’Ouvert 2015, capturing the paint, music, movement and early-morning energy of one of Miami Carnival weekend’s signature celebrations.
The official J’Ouvert took place on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Central Broward Regional Park, bringing masqueraders together for a colorful morning of Soca, paint, water and Caribbean Carnival culture.
Representing Julianspromos on camera were media correspondents Sheniele “Vivaa” Dodson and Intrigue Lane, who brought viewers directly into the J’Ouvert experience as part of the company’s original multimedia Carnival coverage.
On the Road With GenX RedAntz
Julianspromos joined GenX RedAntz Miami J’Ouvert, covering the band’s presentation and the BACHAC section by YMogul.
The J’Ouvert experience featured 11 sections, along with all-inclusive drinks, a water truck, paint truck and other elements designed to keep masqueraders immersed in the celebration throughout the morning.
Paint, Soca and J’Ouvert Energy
J’Ouvert remains one of the most distinctive traditions surrounding Caribbean Carnival, combining music, paint, movement and freedom of expression before the main Parade of Bands.
The 2015 Miami Carnival edition brought that tradition to South Florida, creating a high-energy celebration shaped by Soca music and the Caribbean communities that have helped make Miami Carnival an important part of the international Carnival calendar.
Through Vivaa and Intrigue Lane’s on-camera coverage, Julianspromos documented the atmosphere from inside the experience rather than simply observing it from the sidelines.
